Build a Wreath with Heather H.

Hello! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards - here to share some projects with the newest set called Build-A-Wreath. I kind of LOVE wreaths, so was pretty excited to see this stamps it show up in the mail - super cute!

First of all - I just had to share a peek of this card - I actually shared it a couple days ago on my blog as part of my Blog Birthday Giveaways (and there is a giveaway if you want to pop over HERE and check it out - and see full details of this card!)

And then, I have my regular 3 cards here - first up, of course that wreath just had to be used!

I kept it pretty simple for this one - the wreath, the thank you in the center, some ink splatters, and some washi strips along the side - the finished off with rounding one corner.

Here I put together some of the smaller images:

I used the back of that leaf to stamp the color around it, then stamped over it with the right side. Some Crate Paper pattern paper, torn edges, and machine stitching finish this one off.

And finally, I ended up back at those leaves!

For this one, I pulled out some ink, and just stamped and stamped and stamped a pretty background - then added my sentiment on a strip of gray cardstock, with a tiny bit of black peeking out along the bottom. Adhered that with foam adhesive, and done!

Thanks so much for dropping by today! Have a wonderful week!

Make A Wreath with Jo

Hello everyone, Jo here sharing my cards using the "Make A Wreath" stamp set. This set has an Autumnal feel, perfect for the season.

 Card 1: thanks

I used white pigment ink for the wreath and sentiment. I stamped multiple images of the pumpkin and leaves, fussy cut them out and layered them on the wreath. I love how the color pops against the white and kraft cs. I doodled lines around the border and added some wood "bling".

 Card 2: Hello FRIEND

I love sunflowers. I stamped the image to create a simple pattern. I used the "Hello FRIEND" sentiment in the set. I added a single sunflower image at the top corner and enamel dots. A easy CAS card for a quick hello.

Card 3: Thank You

Lastly, I used the wreath image again and the "Thank You" sentiment. It's always nice to have a stash of thank you & hello cards. This set includes several images that you can use to build your own wreath.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoy this set as much as I have! Have a fabulous day!

Hawt Dog - Take 2 - with Heather H.

Hello! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards - here to share some projects with a recent summer stamp set from July - Hawt Dog:

I had fun with the tent from this set when I played with it before (you can see that card HERE), and recently, I had a request for a couple more cards in the same style but with different colors - so these are the two I came up with!

I heat embossed it on vellum, layered on some fun pattern paper from Crate Paper and MME, and finished off with some jute twine. A tiny "cross stitch" of two tiny staples finishes off the top right corner and holds the vellum in place.

Thanks so much for dropping by today! Have a wonderful week!

Hollydays with Jo

Hi everyone, Jo here. Christmas is just around the corner...sort of and I am getting a head start on my holiday cards. I decided to use the "Hollydays" stamp set.

Card 1: Happy Hollydays

I used a simple layout for all three cards, which makes it easy to mass produce. I used the "Happy Hollydays" sentiment. The holly image is stamped twice and colored with Copic markers. To finish off the card, I added a red & white striped ribbon.

 Card 2: Oh deer...

The deer image is colored with Copic markers and placed on a dimensional pop dot. I used the "Oh deer..." sentiment in the set. Lastly, I added some red enamel dots for embellishments.

Card 3: Tis the Season

This last card, still using the same card layout, features the cute penguin from the "Decemberrr" stamp set. He's colored with Copic markers and placed on dimensional pop dots. The tree image is from the "Hollydays" stamp set. I added some Yellow Stickles to the star and red enamel dots on the bottom right of the card.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your day.

Some fun coloring for this baby, a bit more detailed....

Clear Gel pen and Glossy Gel pen along with some glittery washi tape for this one...

Just a fun embossing folder paired with two of the sentiments in the set....

SO... I hope you enjoy these and remember somebody needs a lift, give them a smile with a sweet little card!!!

This & That With Pinky!

Hey again friends, it's Pinky today with 3 projects from the newest stamp set!
This & That is so much fun, I decided to make a layout,
a card, and a tag just to mix it all up.

My first project is a tag, I actually used a Mascil with metallic gold spray paint
then I stamped over the paint and added embossing powder.
I don't suggest stamping over spray paint unless you use a solvent ink,
it tends to look faded only on the paint areas.

Here is the super fabby set!

My second project is a layout, I make many
layouts that are 6X6 or 8X8 and these stamps are so fun for layouts.

And on my last project I kind of wanted an 80's neon look so I used black ink
BUT I used pink and blue embossing powder, it kind of makes the
embossing powder a little darker which is what I wanted.

I hope you enjoyed my projects this month!
Until next time friends, keep on creating.
